Coached by his father on what is clearly a family driven passion, Jean Pierre Nasrallah "JP" as called by his friends, became the youngest Champion in the history of Lebanese sports ever, while driving a Renault 5 Turbo 2, Group B; at the Hill Climb race of 1985.

The next season was another success year for JP. This time on a Porsche 911 S which was continuously upgraded throughout the season. Once more, he won the Lebanese Hill Climb Championship title, and, by the end of 1987, JP achieved a record of 3 consecutive Hill Climb Championships.

The events in Lebanon during 1988, forced Jean-Pierre to depart to France, his mother's native country, where he acquired a Prodrive BMW M3, group A, and pursued his motorsports education. He practiced by taking part in the Fouchy Hill Climb where he finished 5th overall and 4th in his group for two years after, which he returned to the Lebanese arena. Jean-Pierre did not earn any titles for the next three years as he was still in Paris where he established a real estate business.

In 1993, He decided to come back to Lebanon for good. He acquired a group N Ford Escort Cosworth, and took part in five Hill Climbs and six rallies that gave him eight Podium finishes and the Hill Climb Championship title of the year.

In 1991, Jean Pierre returned briefly to Lebanon where he participated in three Hill Climbs ranking 2nd, 1st, and 2nd respectively; and Rally de Montagne, in which he ranked 6th overall.

Between 1993 and 1995, JP won three Hill Climb Championships back-to-back, and added to it two Lebanese Rally Championships while driving a Lancia Delta HF Integrale ex Abarth, teaming up with Astra Racing. His national record was unequalled; he dominated the motorsports arena in Lebanon during these years. He not only participated in Cyprus Rally where he finished 5th, but also made a great win and record in Jordan Rumman Hill Climb. His fixation had now reached another level: the Middle Eastern events.

The new regulations for the Lebanese rally Championship in 1997 and 1998 forced JP not to participate in it since it would have forced him to run in a 2-wheel drive group N car. Instead, he participated in other international events, namely, 1997 Middle East Champions Challenge in which he was crowned champ of champions. He also entered the Rally of Lebanon, FIA Middle East rally Championship round, where he battled in his Lancia Delta HF Integrale group A against the latest evolutions of Ford Escort WRC and Toyota Celica GT4 and made an unforgettable win.

Jean-Pierre's quest for challenge and achievement in style drove him to take part in the 1998 Rally of Lebanon driving a Renault Mégane Kit Car against Bin Sulayem's Ford Escort WRC, Peter Solberg's group A Toyota Celica, and Armin Schwartz's Peugeot 306 Kit Car. A wheel puncture stood between him and victory but did not stop JP from finishing in a very stylish 3rd place, 1st F2 and Lebanese crew, scoring the best time in the last four special stages.

In 1999, Jean Pierre led the Rally of Lebanon up till special stage 12 in a 1st generation Ford Escort WRC, following him in 2nd place was young Estonian driver Markku Martin in TTE's Toyota Corolla WRC and in 3rd place was Middle East Rally Champion Bin Sulayem in his latest Ford Focus WRC. While continuous mechanical problems followed JP all through the rally, he would compensate the handicap very quickly and win back his position as the leader of the rally. Unfortunately, a major mechanical problem immobilized the car on the start of Special Stage 13.

In 2000 Rally of Lebanon, Jean-Pierre started the event with a Toyota Corolla WRC latest specs prepared by Grifone. Jean-Pierre managed to take the lead from special stage 5 and lost all chances of winning his home event after his car went out of the road in special stage 12.

The Rally of Lebanon 2001 was the year of changes for Jean-Pierre. He was driving a new car and had teamed up with a new Co-Driver. From the start JP was not pushing to the limits to assure a result after two consecutive years of retirement. The plan was accomplished and he finished 2nd overall and 1st Lebanese crew behind Piero Liatti.

Jean-Pierre was once again at the highest level of competition in 2002 with his Co-Driver Yusif Bassil. He took the lead of the rally from the start and lost it after a tire puncture in special stage 4. Determined to win, JP went back to the lead after Roger Feghali's retirement due to a rear differential failure. Jean-Pierre finished 1st followed by Bin Sulayem in 2nd and Abdo Feghali in 3rd. JP proved once more that he is one of the fastest drivers in the region.

2004 Middle East Rally Championship turned into group N, JP choice for the Rally of Lebanon was to drive a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII. From the start the car was not at expected specs and it took JP some time to adapt with group N after a long World Rally Car experience. JP manages to finish 3rd overall.

Many observers regard Jean-Pierre Nasrallah as one of the best drivers for the last 12 years. He has raced and won all generations of drivers in different machines and all combinations of wheel traction.

His achievements have earned him a very respectful and growing popularity in the Middle Eastern countries and particularly in Lebanon.
